If anyone is looking at getting a serious flashlight, check these folks out. I am thinking of ordering the one I am linking here. \

Incredible light output and the price is way below most other comparable tactical lights. About 2/3 the way down the page is a You Tube video you can watch of this in action. _________________ Bruce

Did you know there's a flashlight forum? No kidding--it's enormous, 95,000 members, and very active. Looks to be a serious obsession for a lot of folks.

Man, I can at least justify being on a Side x Side Forum.....My friends would really think I was a loser if I spent 6 hours a day on a flashlight Forum.....my wife would really thing I was a geek.
I am sure there is alot of good info out there though. Like everything else, I am sure I would learn more than I would ever think I would need to learn LOL.
Does Odyssey make flashlight Batteries....Figure it would be a good deep cycle battery for the rechargable flashlights....could come with own backpack _________________ Steve Lane

Mt wife thought I should be locked in a padded cell when I spent almost $30 on a 2-C LED flashlight but it's got great "throw"--lighting up objects almost 1/4 mile away. It's quickly become both our favorite for walking the dog and one set of batteries has lasted all winter with daily use. _________________ 2 Red '08 Rzr's

Mark, what kind of light did you get? I would like to have a larger one to walk the dog at night also. That big 100,000 cp spotlight gets heavy!! _________________ Bruce

Bruce I think it's this one here:
http://www.rayovac.com/flashlight/se4w3c.shtml
It's a 4-watt 3-C (I goofed calling it a 2-C) one with a build quality like a Maglite. I thought I got it at Target, less than a year ago, but can't find any Rayovac lights on their website now. Don't know who else carries it but there's always eBay... _________________ 2 Red '08 Rzr's

Correction:
Not Target...I got it at Meijers. Saw them there today and it's been slightly changed since I bought mine. Still $27 but output has been increased and it now has a hi/lo switch to provide 60hrs @ 75 lumens or 20hrs @ 180 lumens. _________________ 2 Red '08 Rzr's
