Dang Rich, you sure know how to make a guy feel miserable. You keep posting all of these 70 and 80 degree days in Michigan. Its 92 degrees with the heat index around 100, no wind, no rain in sight and the weather forecast for the next week has 5 days of 100+ days, and no rain in sight. Beautiful summertime in Oklahoma. Needless to say, the Ranger and Mule are in the barn, and are staying there for now. I'm sitting in the A/C at home now, but tomorrow its back to the grind of standing in the middle of the street trying to figure which idiot did what to cause the crash this time. _________________ 2005 Ranger 4x4, 2005 Mule 610, 5 antique tractors, 1 dog, 2 kids, and one granddaughter

Another 90+ degree day here. I think the official high was 92 and the humidity was miserable. Tomorrow and Saturday are suposed to be near 95......and that will end the month with EVERY SINGLE DAY this month being 90+ . I'm ready for fall . _________________

Michigan could see a colorful light show over the next two days after two minor solar storms flared on Sunday and are shooting tons of plasma directly at Earth.
Scientists said residents of northern regions of Michigan to Maine -- and anywhere farther north around the globe -- may see unusual northern lights. Usually only regions closer to the Arctic can see the aurora of rippling reds and greens, but solar storms pull them south. The federal Space Weather Prediction Center in Boulder , Colo., said the plasma will likely arrive late Tuesday or early Wednesday. The storms are not much of a threat to satellites or power grids.
On Aug. 12, the Perseid meteor showers will light up the sky with best viewing after 11 p.m. Some two dozen meteors are expected to streak across the sky every hour. _________________ Rich

Tulsa, OK. When I got home at 5:00 pm today.
Yes, that is 111 degrees.
9:16 pm, been dark for a while,
and it is still 90 degrees outside. YUCK!!!
I would like to have some of Rich's 80 degree days. Weatherman says we will get a break for the next 3 days, mid to upper 90s (he calls that "a break"). Next week it is back up past 100. _________________ 2005 Ranger 4x4, 2005 Mule 610, 5 antique tractors, 1 dog, 2 kids, and one granddaughter

Got some relief today, it was only 94 when I got home, that would be 17 degrees cooler than yesterday. At 9:20 pm it is 83 degrees, 7 degrees cooler than yesterday, and we have a slight breeze.
