The following pictures were taken during the 2008 Polaris Dealer show in Las Vegas. This particular series of shots was in Orleans Arena during what is known as "Reveal Night", when all the new stuff is paraded out for the dealers and guests. PRC was proud to be on hand and we were clued in ahead of time to pay attention to the ramps because we didn't want to miss the moment. So, I got the trusty Canon set to high speed motor drive and focused on the ramps. Finally, the moment arrived and I sat down on the shutter button as soon as I heard the engine roaring!!! This was the first public moment for the brand new RZR-S and PRC was on hand to capture the high flying moment it was introduced!!! Pay special attention to the last couple of shots as this moment nearly ended bad as the driver overshot the landing!!

Notice the position of the helmet here compared to the nex pic!!

OUCH!!!!

Someone strike up the Rocky music!!! I can tell you that brought the house down!!!

Yeh, we got to talk to the driver later and he said it did indeed hurt like heck!!! Well, that is the reworded version of it anyway! The ramps had been moved a little closer together than what they practiced at because the quad guys were a little concerned at the distance. He said the adrenaline rush made him hit the ramp a little too fast and he dang near outjumped the ramp!!!

Nothing like practicing one thing only to find that they changed it... It's like doing that jump cold... Based on that he did a great job...
Nice pics

I'm sure the extreme snap was not expected!!! The sound of the RZR's exhaust, indoors, absolutely reverberated and sent chills down your spine!! Robbie Gordon warmed the crowd up with his antics and then the RZR-S brought the house down!! We got plenty of congrats and compliments on this series of photos when we posted them the night of the reveal there in Vegas. The Polaris folks loved it!! It was excellent publicity for them.
