I have seen several setup in the sister site, most were home back and they were formed out of fiberglass. On the trails I seen a setup that was simple and everything was marine, they had marine speakers in the shifter console, and the amp was behine the shifter, but it was mainly for MP3 player, CDs skip on the trails.

i got the mp3 kit from http://www.boatfix.com/shop4/store/viewItem.asp?idProduct=5888 i got a piece of diamond plate from lowes and mounted every thing overhead. just get an mp3 player and your in business.

Used the Polaris top, and fashion my enclosures be suspended from the roll cage......up out of the elements where it belongs

Not a big Ipod fan here, but if I was to do over would just go with some other mp3 player and keep it simple. Of course you'll need a amp somewhere in the mix.
The speaker enclosure is from SuperATV, fairly cheap. I added a back to it and was quite surprised at the sound the 5 ¼” speakers put out.
