We saw a robin today.
While I was outside today, there must've been at least 2 dozen of them feasting on nightcrawlers in my mudpit of a yard. If the 4 plus inches of rain wasn't enough, 3 hours of pressure washing has now boosted my yard to "swamp" status   .

Dang, 84* in the March - what temps do you see in August-Sept ?
We will hit the triple digits in May then stay there until end of Sep maybe longer. We will stay in the 105 to 110 range all summer with days that are hotter. Believe it or not during monsoon season it isn't a dry heat.

I am so ready to try the Ranger out in 6 wheel drive, I can hardly stand myself. I used to think robins were an indicator for spring, but we have had robins all winter long this year.

Spring is nearly here in east TN. I noticed on the ride home yesterday that things were starting to green up.....and flowers have been blooming for almost a month. 8)

I noticed that our snow had a green tint to it.
