As the SSW continues to steadily grow it has come to our attention that the need for a central parts information base for the Can Am’s is a necessity. We will be adding to this info base continually and as it filters in from our membership, sponsors, etc. Feel free to make suggestions, submit part numbers, etc. so that we may post them and get the info to our membership.
We would also like to encourage our membership to use our many sponsors listed at the bottom of the home page.

    Thank you !!

    lower tailgate seal

The rear lower tailgate door seal on can am commanders info:

Be sure to hose out the actual rubber seal on the lower tailgate door if you ride in sand, small gravel area's a lot. blow it off good with a stream of water every month to avoid tears, holes and cracks. once dried wipe a silicone spray lube on the seal and your good.

    commander recall dec 2012

    FYI: commander recall 2012
if you have certain type of commander, it may have a recall notice on it. its in very specific riding conditions where it applies. if you usually ride in 10 inch or deeper water that is loaded with debris (leaves, grass, moss, straw, etc )then contact your can am dealer AFTER dec 5, 2012 for a recall fix, simple fix, the problem is they feel in that condition only the debris could catch and clog and bunch up on the exhaust pipes coming from engine, when dry then that could cause fire if not cleaned out. going to put a fix there so it dont happen. again, only applies if you ride those conditions. if you dont get a notice from brp, check with your dealer after dec 5, 2012 with your vin number to see if it applies to you.
