I am wondering, how much if any higher does a long travel kit say 3 to 4 inch like an S model set than a standard RZR. I need a bit more clearance for the 29.5's during the winter and the mud runs. I hear people saying they are running 30" rubber on the the S models without lift. I under stand this may be more due to width than height but do you gain anything in height? Can a long travel kit be used with say an extreme 3" lift? I have two goals here,
1.) Gain room for the bigger tires.
2.) Gain Ride height to help keep me and the passenger out of the water / mud when it gets deep.

Both need to be done without giving up trail-a- bility! I was thinking the new adjustable 8 inch lift Super ATV is coming out with but want to explore al;l my options before I jump.

Rick, I know that the "S" will give you a couple more inches of ground clearance. As for people running 30" tires with no lift, it could be done, but nobody is saying what else they have to deal with like rubbing or tearing up fender flairs. I had 27's (Big Horns) with a 2" lift and they rubbed. This was on a standard RZR, and with the 29.5" you might clear everything with a long travel setup, but I still don't know if the tire will not rub when you are turning hard, like you would probably do when traill riding.
