Just got my boy a new rzr 170. On the way home from the dealer I stoped by Rhino Parts and Perfprmance and picked up a few things. Like front pre runner bumper, twisted stich seats, simpson belts, billet shifter knob, lone star +3 front end long travel kit, 3" rear wheel spacers, tire wheel package, and doors. had the doors and front bumper rhino coated on the way home also. I have a half windshield and full skids coming for it also but will be next week before i see them. After I get this broke in I will do a pipe, air kit, and jets.

Before pick

After pick 1 day later

Yes i spent a few for sure. couple 12 backs also :)

seats was the hardest. passenger matched up to the stock rails and bolted right in, with new grade 8 bolts, flat washers, and nyloclks. driver side was another story. had to drill new holes in adjuster rails to mount to seat. end product was great though. lots of containment for my boy, and simpson bets keep his but planet and face put of the wheel. he is only six and already drives it like he stole it.

well he just wreck it tonight. Ran into the back end of my ranger. Already ordered the black plastic bumper from polaris for it ($129.00). Will have to have to have someone weld on a new passenger side bracket for the top mount as the tube came plumb off. Good news is the frame is straight and the prerunner bumper looks new still. Those darn kids :)

He was pretty shaking up and crying that his new razor was crashed. Thats ok though. We can fix it !!!!

As long as he's OK that's what matters MOST - the machine can be fixed. He'll chalk this up as a "Learning Experience" and be that much better in it now. We've all tore up things when we were "youngin's" and going through the learning process. Glad to hear that he's OK !!

thanks. he is fine. had him strapped in with the 4 point simpsons. it looked worse than it is now that I have the pre runner bumper off and the oem black plastic bumber off. All i have to worry about is getting the tube welded back on for the mount point. I think my guy at RPP nows someone. Will try to get to the desert this weekend if i get the tube welded on. The oem bumper is optional :)

just a quick update. The guy fixing my boys rzr 170 front end from the crash will not be able to finish it without the oem bumper i have ordered. He is unable to find another 170 to measure from so we will use that so he can weld in the new pipe to support the pre runner bumper. I will have that part in my hands Friday late afternoon so it will be next week before getting that done. I am however picking it up Friday and will put the oem plastic bumper on so we can go for a little ride this weekend. I can not handle the begging anymore from him :) It will have the new cage on it and I will send pics Friday night on this. I got the cage with Sapre tire rack and full roof. The cage and tire rack will be powder coated crinkle black and the top smooth red. This should look sweet.

Monday I will take it back with the oem bumper on so he can finish the front end repairs and remount the pre runner bumper.

I also have recieved in the last two days the full skid set for it and a the new Vent Racing Technologies air intake. I am finishing my Walker Evans setup tonight on my Ranger (back is done last night and doing front struts and springs tonight) so I can work Friday night on his in getting the skids and air intake and new jets installed for the Saturday ride.

Glen, Glad to hear that you're getting the 170 squared away. The 170 mods sounds very nice - post some pics when it's completed. Your Walker set-up sounds sweet - let us know how that works out and post some pics of that also.

Here is a pick of the rear setup. Other side is the same of course. Also notice I have mud guards in front of the back wheels/under the seat. Wish I would have had those when I went mudding earlier this year :) Will post front struts and spring when I get them on later today. Thanks
