What name brand of off road lights have you guys used? How did you like them? Were they reasonably priced? I am going to put some on my pre runner front bumper...

Thanks in advance

AJ, this is the way that I went on my 09 RZR after I did the battery upgrade:

I am using the same lights as RZRRich but have 2 mount on the bumper. Or at least I think they are the same. I got mine at Checker Auto.

I added VisionX HID headlight conversions. There are several threads on different forums about various brands. I opted for these at the recommendation of an off road shop I deal with.

I have the Polaris bumper and I do get glare back from the HIDs but some painters tape fixed that.

I also have a Tribal Whip 16 inch LED Bar that I plan to mount on the front of the roof. I had a 12 inch LED on a Ranger I sold and really like them. The Tribal Whip is not as expensive as the Rigid which I had. I have tested it with a temporary mount but have not ridden with the Tribal Whip LED.

Hope this helps,

Glenn

Yeah AJ - those buggers aren't very cheap, but, they do work very nicely !! HID lighting is very efficient with regard to power consumption and they throw out a very white light also. The stock head lights are NO comparison to these what-so-ever, I have since purchased a HID head light conversion kit but haven’t installed it yet. Using all 4 HID’s at one time is NO issue – used all 4 of them at the same time on a night ride at the PRC RRB Rally in Tenn. and they do light up the country side  for sure – threw the battery charger on it after that and it wasn’t needed at all, but I have done the battery conversion also.

AJ, Sorry for the late response - had to charge my camera battery. I'm using the:

EMP RZR Extreme Front Bumper [10436 RZR Front Bumper]

I opted for the Rigged Industries 40 inch and a couple cubes floods for the side! The top has both spot and flood, the bumper ones are wide angle floods, lots of light!

I run Ridgid Industries lights and they are brighter then a Vision X when you put them side by side and a member in the PRC forum (VBDracing) is a dealer for them with very reasonable prices.
