It's an 1100 4 cylinder. It says Dazon on the cam cover but I thinks it is a generic chinese engine. I was looking at some other makes on the internet
and the BMS 1100 looks a lot like it.

I'll bet that thing will scoot. The machine itself looks pretty light. How do you like the performance?

Jerry it goes pretty good. According to team Dazon the dry weight on those
is around 879lbs. So in running condition it should still be under a thousand.

Robert, if you would - get a pic of the engine area. I'd like to see the engine and rear suspension. 8)

That would be cool to see. I've considered building a buggy and have been looking at all of the set-ups that I can. My biggest struggle has been the debate of what type of tranny and clutch to use. I'm gonna use a 1000cc crotch rocket motor (probably an R1) but gotta have reverse, so using the stock tranny as a stand-alone is out of the question.

You're doing just fine on the pics Robert  . WOW  - that thing sure does have some suspension on it :!: While you're on a roll with the camera bud - post some pics of your 'Other Ride' - you know, the one sitting in the garage. :D 8)

HOLY COW are those shocks 3 feet long??
I was noticing that. I would've expected much longer A-arms to accompany those shocks.

I think maybe the logic behind the long shocks is to reduce spring compression which in turn produces a smoother ride. Don't know for sure, but I know it rides good and is very forgiving when exposed to sudden bumps or potholes.

Rich where should I post them. I guess you could call a 53 Buick a sidexside.
Or maybe a 4 seater.
