I noticed tonight that both of the upper rubber shock spring cushions that appear to mount at the top of the shock, right underneath the metal spring retainer washer are destroyed.

I am guessing this happened at the Rally last weekend. Has any other Ranger owners experienced this with a new body style Ranger?

I have looked on the Polaris part fisch for the correct replacement part, but it does not show up in the exploded view of the front shock. Does anyone have a part number on this?

Thanks

Steve

Here are some pics of my shock bump stop. This is only one side, the other side is in the same condition. I just noticed this after the Rally, but am guessing they have been like this after this past snow plowing season.

I just cranked up my shock preloads to the max setting before the Rally, but did not look at the bump stops.

Has anyone tried some aftermarket Bumpstops?

I have found these Daystar stops which look like they would work. There appears to be an installation tool and they are stretched over the shock eye.

There are two types a red and black. The red is softer, the black is firmer. The price also seems right, between 20 and 30 dollars on the internet.

I don't know how the physical dimensions compare to the Polaris OEM ones, but I am gonna buy a set of them to try out.

Here are a couple links to vendors that sell them.
