I am in the market for a 2011 Polaris rzr 800 and hear they offer a extended warrenty through Polaris. If this is true, anyone know anything about it?

How much and what if offers?

Polaris does offer extended warranties, I believe they are underwritten by GE. Check out sponsors such as Motor Sports Super Store or Ball Equipment. I believe that have warranties available at a discount.

I purchased one when i bought my 900XP, it sounded good but i am sure something will be my fault and it wont be covered....

Do some research before you decide is my advice.
Seems it all comes down to the dealer being willing to step up and take care of dealing with Polaris.
I read almost every week on how dealers leave the customer hanging and Polaris doesn't cover things because of it.
If you add the smallest accessory it can be an excuse not to fix it.
The dealer I bought my RZR from wouldn't let me ask a "what if a certain part would break" question before he was telling me it wasn't covered.
