After the 10% discount code and FREE shipping from RMATV.com... and installing it.

I'm very happy with the looks and quality of it...
Full Front to Rear and Side to Side coverage. Full 3/8" thick, all edges are beveled and hardware is recessed.

For a total of $270 shipped to the front door.

Pictures of install HERE

Also.... just a quick note about the eBay seller listing the same item... I sent them one message with the same two questions as everyone else about the side to side width and the front to rear coverage, b/c the picture doesn't show it well... NO REPLY... for what it's worth... One phone call to RMATV... Helpful girl found the dimensions for me, gave me the coupon code and I ordered it.

Wacker, one more question ...... where the two pieces of the main skid meet, does the front overlap the rear piece?
Doug I doubt it's any heavier than most 3/8" UHMW skids, don't recall the actual lbs. but it's a little lighter than aluminum, and a whole lot slicker!

Sorry.... Left to go riding on Wednesday and just got back...

The front and rear pieces over lap in the middle with a "lap joint" I think it's called.
I'd say the weight is between 30-35 pounds total. It seems very durable, if it cracks I'll be very surprised...

Greg, do you have rock sliders or nerf bars, if you do are you still able to use them? Might get this for Christmas instead of some doors

I had the Rock Sliders but had to take off b/c the skid covers from side to side very nicely... it uses the four holes on both sides of the rocker panels/door jambs... I'm not really worried about the bars now b/c they just got hung up on everything to easy. But I looked again and think with a little bit of trimming you could leave them on pretty easily too.

Thanks for the information, I'm thinking this will be my Christmas present, well maybe 2 set. The "S" doesn't have any side protection currently, and the 08' has rock sliders.

This just makes it sweeter, I received a letter from Paypal saying if I try their new service called BillLMeLater they will take $100 off my first purchase.

I just tried to buy a couple skid pans, found out the code is $100.00 store credit and BillMeLater wouldn't work. Going to call paypal tomorrow and find out why it didn't work.
